Axat brings more than 13 years of public accounting experience to businesses, entrepreneurs, and individuals navigating important financial and tax decisions.
His career has spanned organizations ranging from four-person practices to firms with more than 4,000 professionals. Along the way, he has managed client relationships and accounting teams, guided businesses with revenues from approximately $500,000 to $25 million, and worked across accounting, payroll, sales tax, income tax compliance, tax planning, and financial advisory matters.
Axat's experience includes supporting closely held businesses, real estate and construction clients, multistate tax matters, business formations and elections, IRS and state notices, transaction planning, and ongoing financial reporting. That breadth allows him to look beyond an isolated filing or report and understand how the pieces fit together.
He founded Axat Shah CPA LLC to combine experienced technical guidance with meaningful CPA involvement throughout the relationship. Clients know who is responsible for understanding their circumstances, overseeing the work, and helping them move forward.
